The "oh-so-popular" LBD

The Little black dress (referred as "LBD") has been a must have item ever since the twenties. ( yes, been THATT long! ) Coco Chanel was the first to come up with the idea of a black dress, simple yet very elegant and chic.

The LBD in the early 1900's

It is the default ensemble when its one of those " i have nothing to wear" days. The LBD transecends time and trends as the essential item in every woman's wardrobe "it can always be thrown on and feel best dressed" said Scarlett Johansson.
The all time classic way to wear a little black dress is to channel the Audrey Hepburn "Breakfast at Tifanny's
look - a perfect simple sleeveles LBD, pearls and the classic headband! ( thats totally how one would describe Eleganance )

The LBD is always ones safest bet to wear! And the best part is there are soo many ways to spice it up that it'll never get boring! You can always wear it with a well fitted blazer for a classier effect, or wear it with bright colour pumps to stand out, any way, a black dress always writes off class all over it.
